“The inclusion of Dolby Digital Plus transforms the smartphones into devices that are capable of delivering high-definition content in 5.1 surround sound. With an hdmi cable, users should be able to relay high-def content on to their hd television sets or other hd displays,” said Vipul Mehrotra, Director and head of Smart Devices, Nokia India.
Mehrotra said that it took them five years to create the most advanced imaging device in smart phone category. “Nokia 808 Pure View stands for industry leading innovation — it represents Nokia’s highest level of smart phone imaging experiences and marries it effectively with Dolby’s cinematic sound experience,” said the top company official.
